Mike Turner

Mike Turner is married and has two children. His wife, Beth Turner, is a Public Defender in the 18th Judicial District which includes Arapahoe County, Lincoln County, Elbert County and Douglas County. Mike attended the University of Denver College of Law from 1988 to 1991 when he graduated and was admitted to practice.

For the past fifteen years, Mike has devoted his practice of law to personal injury litigation. He worked as a trial lawyer in the law firm of Branney, Hillyard and Kudla. He remained at the law firm for more than eight years and litigated many cases. A number of those cases returned multi-million-dollar verdicts.

In 1998, Mike opened his individual law practice and formed The Law Office of Mike Turner. Although Mike operates his own law firm, he and Scott Henderson often work together as co-counsel for the injured plaintiff. Together, they have been very successful in obtaining large verdicts and settlements for their clients including multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements.

Mike Turner’s trial experience includes prosecuting a variety of personal injury cases such as medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, falling merchandise injuries and auto collision cases. He has also prosecuted complex toxic tort litigation concerning leaking underground storage tanks and other environmental pollution cases.

Mike is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA). During his undergraduate days at Colorado State University, Mike was a top member of the ski racing team. He brings that same competitive fire to his law practice as a trial lawyer working on behalf of injured people. He is also deeply committed to progressive politics and programs that support and advance the interests of real people who have been wronged by corporations, insurance companies and conservative special interests.
